The website www.lidoweb.com has been designed to show LIDO’s retailers and end customers the company’s furniture collections, hold an information platform for the use of the press and public, provide help in locating retailers, as well as providing a summary technical support with bathroom layout tips and fitting instructions. The edition of a personal project is nothing official and does not contractually engage users to purchase LIDO’s products in any way possible.

We do whatever we can in order to keep this website up to date as we like to ensure our product descriptions match currently produced goods and their prices. However, only final prices given on our order forms (before sending off any orders to production) may have legal value.

You need to consider the differences in terms of experience between buying online and in store :

• we can not guarantee you the finished products match 100% what’s being displayed on your screen when you pick your products. This is because display colours may vary depending on lighting and your display settings

• dimensions can appear different on a picture and it’s your responsibility to check that our furniture will fit the space your purposedly purchased the good for

• images and drawings used on this website are as accurate as possible, but you must however make sure that you understand the specific technical informations given in order to avoid disappointment

• we reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. This means a product you’ve seen may no longer be available at a later date,, more specifically  at the time of your actually send us back a signed order form

• all products available on this website may not compulsorily be distributed at our retailers and vice-versa

• in a general way, all informations contained on this website have no contractual value.

We take adequate measures to protect our website from viruses and malwares. However, it’s your repsonsibility to protect your own equipment at your end by installing approrpiatre anti-virus softwares. We cannot be held responsible in case of viral IT contamination.

We cannot control all hyperlinks pointing at www.lidoweb.com. We consequently decline any responsibility relative to their content.

The website www.lidoweb.com is the property of LIDO.SA. Any partial or total copy, on any support it may be, is forbidden unless a written agreement has been sought prior to using any content for a commercial purpose. Breaching this requirement will be considered as a copyright infrigement and counterfeiters will be eligible for prosecution.

How to purchase LIDO products?

This website is not a merchant website. Its’ been designed to ease LIDO’s selling process by offering an online catalogue facility and a quotation request service so you can mail your selection to yourself or print your project specifications. It will allow you to remember what products you were interested in and you will be able to take the print to your nearest LIDO retailer – conveniently, most retailers are also listed on this website.

If you have selected products that are sold directly by LIDO, our team will call or email you in order to go through your order again and make sure there are no errors. You will then receive a pre-filled order form by fax, mail or email. Your purchase will only be effective once you have signed this order form and returned it to us. A deposit of 50% of the total order (ex. VAT) will be requested, and the remaining 50% are to be paid when goods are delivered by LIDO.

About your privacy…

Personnal informations input through this website are only shared by LIDO employees and agreed retailers on LIDO’s behalf, in order to contact you when selling and delivering goods, and keep you up to date with our company news. They are not and will never be shared with any other third parties.

In a general way, we don’t enjoy hassling people and keep our communications to a minimum. However, if you would rather not receive any communications from us, we will take your name off our databse straight away. By law, you can access, edit and delete all personnal data you have shared with us (art. 34 de la loi « informatique et libertés » du 6 Janvier 1978).

Terms and Conditions

General T&Cs : The following T&Cs only apply to direct purchases from LIDO made by consummers (in opposition to retailers).

Orders : Buyers must sign an order form prior to see their order processed. This order form has legal and contractual value and will be referred to in case of disagreement between LIDO and the buyer. Buyers will receive an order confimation once the order form has been processed.
Also note that, under the French law and in the context of mail order, buyers have 7 days to void their purchase after they have signed an order form.

Prices : all prices given on this website are ex VAT prices, for wrapped up goods as they leave our factory. They never include additional delivery costs that will vary depending on the goods being delivered, specific delivery agreements and their destination.

Payment : LIDO will require a deposit worth 50% of the total purchase (ex. VAT price) when the buyer returns his order form; the remaining 50% will be paid on delivery. Methods of payment accepted inlcude checks (to LIDO. S.A) and bank transfers (please enquire for account details).

Unless a special agreement has been made in writing by LIDO, any delay in payments will incur additional charges : late payers will be eligible for legal action and may be charged an additional 15% of the total ex. VAT owned price, adding to any juridical and legal fees engaged in the recovery process.

Delivery : Delivery costs may vary depending on the destination, weight and size of the goods being delivered. In every case, the delivery price will be clearly stated on LIDO’s pre-filled order form. This means that by returning a signed order form, buyers agree to our delivery price and stated conditions.
Time scales mentioned on LIDO’s order confirmation are only approximate and even though we will do our best to meet our promises, we can never guarantee a delivery date or time. We will not accept any responsibility for delivery delays.

Goods delivered must be checked on reception. It is your reposnibility to check for damage and report any problem to us wuithin 48 hours after delivery date and time. We will not accept any claim past this delay.

Returns : LIDO does not exhange made-to-mesure products nor special orders. Apart from these, all standard goods can be returned within 7 days of purchase under French regulations for mail order. LIDO will therefore fully refund or exchange any good within these 7 days as long as they are in their original condition and wrapping. LIDO will noty take retunrs if goods have been unwrapped and furniture fitted. Transport costs for retuns will however remain at the buyer’s charge. LIDO will not accept any liability for labour or transport cost resulting from an exchange process.

Models : LIDO reserves the right to discontinue or make changes to any of its products, although another version may remain presented on LIDO’s catalogue or website. LIDO can not be held responsible for any direct or indirect inconenience resulting from a product discontitinuation. If a good you have ordered may no longer be provided, we will either agree on an alternative exchange or fully reinburse you the total price of your purchase.

Guarantee : LIDO products bear a guarantee of 2 years after their invoicing date.
This warranty only apply under production of the original invoice and when products have been fitted and used in an adequate way. The guarantee covers any product defect as long as the good in question has not been transformed or enhanced after it has left our factory. The warranty covers the reinbursment or exchange of faulty units but will not cover fitting fees in any case.
